They're consistently seen as a high achiever, managing an impossible amount of responsibilities, seemingly keeping everything in their lives together, while also carrying a weight and heaviness inside that no one around them knows about.
And at some point, something shifts. Sometimes it's someone in their life, a spouse or a friend, points out that something seems off. They can't seem to focus as well as they used to. They know something is wrong but can't figure out how to get back to feeling like they used to.
How i can help
clients often come to therapy when...
You can't seem to turn off work when you get home, and it's starting to affect your life and family dynamics
You keep ending up in the same patterns in relationships and you're not sure how to break them
You're navigating the dating world and it feels exhausting and defeating
You feel trapped in a situation you don't like but you're not sure how to get out of it
You feel like you should be able to figure this out on your own, and you can't understand why you haven't yet
You have a full and successful life on paper, and you're not sure why that doesn't feel like enough
I've found that this population tends to be a really good fit for my practice. You're high functioning, self aware enough to know something needs to change, and once you're in, you're in.
Some of my C-suite clients call me their coach, even though they know I'm a licensed therapist. Sometimes that word just feels easier to say out loud.
I’ve also had the privilege of supporting many women who chose to pause or shift their career paths, where success allowed them to focus on a new chapter or family priorities. I know firsthand how much of a shift that can be. Trading a professional identity for a different kind of full time role is its own kind of transition, and it doesn't always get the attention it deserves.
Your first session is 60 minutes and gives us a chance to get a real picture of who you are, not just what brought you to therapy. We'll talk about your history, your goals, what's been going on, and what you're hoping to get out of our work together. From there, sessions are 45 minutes and we pick up where we left off every time.
In session I work primarily from a cognitive behavioral therapy framework, which in plain terms means we look at the connection between your thoughts, your feelings, and your behaviors, and figure out where things are getting in the way. I'll identify patterns, name the cognitive distortions that are keeping you stuck, give you practical tools, the space to process, and strategies you can use outside of session. Sometimes that comes in the form of homework. Sometimes it's something worth staying curious about until we meet again.
The pressure to stay at the level you've reached, let alone to continue performing, is real. The next bonus, the next promotion, the next milestone. It's a lot to carry. And most of the time, you're carrying it alone because the people around you assume you have it all handled.
What are your session fees?
Session fees vary depending on session length and whether you are interested in couples therapy or individual therapy. Please contact me to discuss my session rates.
Do you only offer online therapy sessions?
Yes, I offer teletherapy sessions on a HIPAA compliant video platform to NJ and CT residents.
Do you accept insurance?
I am an out-of-network provider, which means that I do not directly participate with any insurance plans. As an out-of-network provider, a super bill will be provided to you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement, if you choose to do so. Many people have out-of-network benefits and can be reimbursed for psychotherapy services by as much as 50-80%, depending on the plan.

Here are some questions that may be helpful to ask your insurance company:
How do I make payments?
Payment is accepted in the form of credit card, debit cards, FSA, or HSA cards. Payments are due at the time of the session.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations and rescheduled sessions require at least a 24 hour notice. If you cancel or reschedule your appointment within 24 hours of the scheduled time, you will still be responsible for the full session fee.
What can I expect in the initial consultation?
The initial video consultation call is an opportunity to learn more about my practice, answer questions you may have, and to learn more about what you hope to get out of therapy. Together we will decide if my practice is the best fit for your needs.
Before we do anything else, we start with a complimentary 15 minute video call. It's a chance for you to share a little about what's going on, ask any questions you have, and get a feel for whether working together makes sense. If we decide to move forward, we'll schedule your first session from there.
This contact form is not monitored 24/7 and is not intended for crisis situations. If you're in crisis or need immediate support, please reach out to the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988.
