I've found that this population tends to be a really good fit for my practice. You're high functioning, self aware enough to know something needs to change, and once you're in, you're in.
Some of my C-suite clients call me their coach, even though they know I'm a licensed therapist. Sometimes that word just feels easier to say out loud.
I’ve also had the privilege of supporting many women who chose to pause or shift their career paths, where success allowed them to focus on a new chapter or family priorities. I know firsthand how much of a shift that can be. Trading a professional identity for a different kind of full time role is its own kind of transition, and it doesn't always get the attention it deserves.
You're used to figuring things out. And if I had to guess, that's probably how you got where you are today. But there's a difference between managing your life well and actually enjoying it. The stress you can't dial down when you leave the office, the relationship challenges you've been putting off dealing with, the feeling that you're stuck somewhere between the life you have and the one you actually want. You’re ready to look at it all, even the parts that feel uncomfortable, and create shifts and new ways of living. And I'm ready to help you get started.
I’m Erika, a licensed therapist providing online therapy for individuals and couples in CT. I've spent my career working with high achievers, C-suite executives, young professionals, and couples in all stages of a relationship who are thriving in many areas of their life and quietly struggling in others.
My style is direct, engaged, intentional, and a lot more conversational than you might expect therapy to be. I'm in it with you, asking the questions that need asking, identifying the patterns worth looking at, and making sure you leave every session with a takeaway. Alongside the meaningful work we do together, clients often notice there is plenty of room for laughter in our sessions. To me, that speaks to what therapy should truly feel like: focused, collaborative, and authentic.
I work with clients all over CT, and for all of them, being able to block off an hour during the workday from their home or their office makes it that much easier to show up consistently. No babysitter to arrange, no traffic to sit in, no showing up to a session already frazzled because of the commute.
The online therapy platform I use is simple, secure, and easy to navigate, even if you're not particularly tech savvy. All you need is a quiet space and a willingness to do the work.
Individual Therapy in CT
I work with high performers, C-suite executives, emerging leaders, and high level professionals. Much of our work centers on two things: boundaries and communication. Not just talking about them, but really understanding where boundaries need to be set, how to hold them, how to slow down your communication, and share your thoughts and feelings effectively.
Couples Therapy in CT
I've always believed that one of the most fundamental human needs is to feel heard and understood. Not necessarily agreed with, just truly heard. That's the foundation of the couples work I do. Whether you've been together for two years or twenty, most of what brings couples to therapy is some version of a need not being met. When you argue, it's not because you don't care, it's because you're trying to be heard, understood, and seen. That's exactly what we work on together.
Perinatal Therapy in CT
One of the most common things I hear from new parents is some version of the same question: who are we now that everything has changed? The transition into parenthood reshapes everything, including your relationship, your identity, and the way you show up for each other. This is a space for new and expecting parents navigating a transition that doesn't always get the support it deserves.

What are your session fees?
Session fees vary depending on session length and whether you are interested in couples therapy or individual therapy. Please contact me to discuss my session rates.
Do you only offer online therapy sessions?
Yes, I offer teletherapy sessions on a HIPAA compliant video platform to NJ and CT residents.
Do you accept insurance?
I am an out-of-network provider, which means that I do not directly participate with any insurance plans. As an out-of-network provider, a super bill will be provided to you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement, if you choose to do so. Many people have out-of-network benefits and can be reimbursed for psychotherapy services by as much as 50-80%, depending on the plan.

Here are some questions that may be helpful to ask your insurance company:
How do I make payments?
Payment is accepted in the form of credit card, debit cards, FSA, or HSA cards. Payments are due at the time of the session.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations and rescheduled sessions require at least a 24 hour notice. If you cancel or reschedule your appointment within 24 hours of the scheduled time, you will still be responsible for the full session fee.
What can I expect in the initial consultation?
The initial video consultation call is an opportunity to learn more about my practice, answer questions you may have, and to learn more about what you hope to get out of therapy. Together we will decide if my practice is the best fit for your needs.
Before we do anything else, we start with a complimentary 15 minute video call. It's a chance for you to share a little about what's going on, ask any questions you have, and get a feel for whether working together makes sense. If we decide to move forward, we'll schedule your first session from there.
This contact form is not monitored 24/7 and is not intended for crisis situations. If you're in crisis or need immediate support, please reach out to the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988.
Thank you for reaching out!
I'll be in touch via email within the next few business days.
